DIRECTIONS-CRACKS

For cracks and fissures. The repair process may not be successful with cracks over 18 inches in length. The area to be repaired should be shaded from direct sunlight until the application of the bonding agent is complete.
Clean the inside and outside of the windshield along the crack with glass cleaner and dry completely. Use the enclosed razor blade to open the black tube containing the bonding agent. Cut off only the sealed tip on the thin end of the tube.
1) Figure 1B
Slowly apply the bonding agent directly to the crack making sure not to leave any air pockets.

2) Figure 2B
As you apply the bonding agent along the length of the crack, cover the entire length of the crack with the curing film. Use as many sheets as necessary. No pressure is required; gently place the sheets on the glass.

3) Figure 3B
If any air pockets remain in the crack, apply a small amount of pressure from behind by using your forefinger. You may also apply heat to the crack from behind as in Step 3 of the directions for (chips and bull's eyes-This will open up the glass and allow the bonding agent to seep inside the) crack. Be careful when applying pressure or heat! Excessive pressure or heat will extend the crack.

4) Figure 4B
Examine the repaired area from boMsides,, Look at the glass from about a 45 degree angle to see if the crack is still visible. Repeat Step 3 as)iecessary.

5) Figure 5B
When satisfied with the results, allow the bonding agent to cure. Direct sunlight or a UV light will cure the repair.

6) Figure 6B
After allowing the bonding agent to cure (about 5-10 minutes in direct sunlight), gently remove the curing film. Scrape away the excess bonding agent with the razor blade. For best results, hold the razor blade at a 90 degree angle to the windshield when scraping.
